PT Astra Otoparts Tbk again made an achievement by winning the ESG Award from the Indonesian Biodiversity Foundation (Kehati). This award was given in the best listed company category in the capital market sector on Thursday, 31 July 2025.
This appreciation is a clear proof of the seriousness of Astra Otoparts in applying the principle of sustainability in all of its business lines. Not just a jargon, This company is considered consistent in carrying out environmental policies, Social, and Governance (ESG) entirely.
Since December 2020, Astra Otoparts has been recorded as a sustainable and responsible investment index constituent (SRI)-Kehati, One of the seven thematic ESG indexes compiled by Kehati with the Indonesian Stock Exchange (AT). This index does not only assess financial performance, but also how much the company's contribution to the environment, social, and good governance.

In this initiative, They are targeting to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GREEK) scope 1 and 2 to 30% from the basic number of years 2019. Not only that, The company also prepared steps towards Net Zero 2050.
To support this achievement, various concrete steps are applied, among others: energy efficiency through the pressurized air system, use of energy saving equipment, Effectiveness of Forklift and Production Machines, Solar panel installation, Utilization of renewable fuels such as biofuels, Renewable Energy Certificate (REC), and Implementation of the Sustainable Energy Management System Astra Green Energy (AGEn)
Agents operate with the Plan-Do-Check-Action cycle approach (PDCA) so that the energy efficiency process runs consistently and measurable.
