As we know, technology is getting more sophisticated day by day. Features like Ok Google, Siri, Alexa and others really help people in their daily lives. People don't need to use the keyboard keys or even touch the smartphone screen, just by using the voice feature by speaking directly they can get what they want. But now, This feature is not only found on smartphones. The fifth generation Honda City is equipped with connected car technology that is compatible with Amazon's digital assistant, Alexa, for voice commands. The following is information quoted by Otodiva.com from cardekho.com.
The model's connected car technology has now been updated for compatibility with Google Assistant-enabled devices such as Android smartphones, Google Nest Speakers, as well as iOS smartphones. So you can now use ten voice activated features in your Honda City with the command ‘Ok Google’.
Honda added four new features to the fifth generation City as part of the Honda Connect package, namely fuel log analysis, maintenance costs, enhanced options for service products, and valet alerts. Fuel log analysis
offers a graphical representation of information such as user fueling trends, distance traveled, fuel consumers, fuel costs, and cost per kilometer. It is intended to help analyze a car's real-world fuel economy according to the user's driving. The second feature lives up to its name and helps owners track vehicle service costs. Valet alerts are somewhat similar to geo-fencing but specifically for valet parking boundaries so the owner will be notified if the car leaves that area. The latest addition to Honda Connect is a function that allows users to take advantage of Honda's value-added services through the app itself.
The fifth-generation Honda City is a premium offering that comes with connected car technology as standard. It's unclear whether existing owners will also benefit from this update. It is offered in three trims with petrol and diesel engine options.
