Langkah ini merupakan bagian dari komitmen Wuling untuk mendukung kendaraan ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan di Tanah Air, serta menawarkan solusi mobilitas yang lebih aman bagi masyarakat.
Wuling juga telah memperkenalkan Lifetime Core EV Component Warranty, menjadi yang pertama di industri. Liu Yan, Marketing Operation Director Wuling Motors, menyatakan bahwa produksi baterai yang dinamakan MAGIC Battery ini adalah upaya untuk membangun ekosistem EV yang lebih nyaman dan aman bagi pemiliknya.
The name MAGIC Battery is an acronym that describes various innovations in these batteries. “M” merujuk pada Multifunction Unitized Structure Technology, “A” for Advanced Cell Safety, “G” means Greater Performance, “I” represent Intelligent Management, And “C” means Combustion Free.
MAGIC Battery integrates three components, namely structure, side panels, and cooling layers into one functional unit. This design, inspired by airplane wings, increases structural strength to 60% without gaining weight, and simplify the repair process.
This battery is equipped with cells that are safe and have been tested, reduces the risk of short circuit, leaking, and overheating. With Advanced Cell Safety feature, The battery can function normally even in accident situations, avoid the risk of explosion or fire.
The combination of MUST and Advanced Cell Safety improves MAGIC Battery performance, including better charging efficiency and durability. This battery is designed to be lighter and have high performance and is safe to use.
This battery is also equipped with an intelligent management system consisting of a High Precision Battery Management System and Cloud-based AI. This system allows real-time monitoring and provides early warning if something goes wrong, ensuring user safety throughout the battery life cycle.
Liu Yan emphasized that MAGIC Battery's technology and performance have been proven with sales of more than 2 million units of Wuling electric cars worldwide, with no reported cases of fire or spontaneous explosion.
