Astra Honda Motor (AHM) continues to show its commitment in scoring young Indonesian racing talents. This year, AHM again sent a number of talented riders to Europe and Asia to compete in various prestigious racing events, including JuniorGP, which is the junior level of MotoGP.
One of the young drivers who got a golden opportunity is Veda Ega Pratama. After competing at the Asian level, the 16-year-old from Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta is ready to make his debut in the FIM JuniorGP World Championship in the Moto3 JuniorGP class. Veda’s move follows in the footsteps of his senior, Mario Suryo Aji, who currently competes in Moto2 with Idemitsu Honda Team Asia.
Their presence at this championship marked AHRT’s dominance at the Asian level.
In the Asia Production 250 (AP250) class, AHRT will rely on Fadillah Arbi Aditama, who this year will duet with Davino Britani. With six team titles already won, AHRT is optimistic that they can maintain their dominance in the AP250.
ETC itself is an event formed by Dorna and a forum for drivers aged 12 to 20 years to develop their potential in international racing.
Not only in Europe, AHM also sent four drivers to compete in the Asia Talent Cup (ATC) 2025. Mereka adalah Davino Britani, Alvaro Hendra Mahendra, Muh Badly Ayatullah Massorong, dan Nelcon Cairoli Arhdeniansyah. The four young riders will compete with other riders in the Asia-Oceania region in the 13-15 year age category.
In addition, two other talented young drivers, Bintang Pranata Sukma and Ziven Rozul Abiy Salim, will compete in the Thailand Talent Cup 2025. This championship is one of the important events for young drivers to hone their skills before going to a higher level.
Not only in asphalt racing, AHM also supports Arsenio Algifari to fight in the MX National Championship, an off-road competition that is challenging and requires high skills.
AHM commitment in scoring talented young drivers
Marketing director of AHM, Octavianus Dwi Putro, confirmed that Indonesia has many outstanding racing talents. With the support of AHM and Honda’s competitive motorcycle performance, these young drivers are expected to be able to make Indonesia proud in the international arena.
“We believe that Indonesia has tremendous talent in the world of racing. We believe, with Honda’s strong and fast performance in the racing arena, it can be a harmonious blend in realizing their dreams. Let us support the younger generation and the Astra Honda racers to always be in the spirit of making Indonesia proud in the world racing scene,” said Octavian.
With this step, Astra Honda Motor increasingly shows its commitment in fostering a generation of young Indonesian drivers to be able to compete at the world level. Let’s look forward to the gait of these young racers in international racing events!
