Di ajang 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, Honda memperkenalkan dua model terbaru dalam lini mobil listrik Yè Series untuk pasar Cina. Two new models, the GAC Honda GT and Dongfeng Honda GT, were revealed for the first time at the event.
Both models are the flagship vehicles in the Yè Series line, designed to provide innovative driving experiences and fun to drive to consumers. Although both feature ‘low & wide’ silhouettes, each model carries a unique design that reflects the characteristics and image of their respective brands. The GAC Honda GT features a futuristic feel that is modern and tech-savvy, while the Dongfeng Honda GT delivers an emotional style that evokes positive feelings towards the mobility of the future.
In the cabin, Honda has designed a space that prioritizes the comfort and involvement of the driver and passengers. The driver can enjoy a sporty and pleasant driving experience through the ergonomic cabin design. Meanwhile, the far-focused main screen provides an immersive visual experience, creating a premium atmosphere for passengers.
Honda’s electric car commitment

In addition to the launch of the GT model at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Expo, Honda also announced its commitment to developing China’s leading technologies in electrification and artificial intelligence. The collaboration with Momenta Global Limited, which specializes in AI driver assistance technology, will help Honda integrate advanced navigation systems and enhance a safe and reliable driving experience.
Honda is collaborating with a number of technology companies in China to accelerate the development of smart electric vehicles. Together with Momenta Global Limited, Honda will integrate AI-based driver assistance technology that allows vehicles to operate without high-definition maps, simply by the destination set through the navigation system. This technology will be applied to future models to improve safety and driving comfort.
Honda juga akan mengadopsi teknologi kecerdasan buatan dari Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Basic Technology Research Co., Ltd. (DeepSeek) to bring a more comfortable and enjoyable mobility experience. DeepSeek technology will be embedded in the entire line of electric models and is available as an over-the-air (OTA) update for the P7 and S7 models.
On the other hand, Honda is also working with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) to develop a high-efficiency battery platform, including the use of battery cells embedded directly in the vehicle body as well as the development of lithium-ion phosphate (LFP) batteries for the third model in the Yè line. All of these efforts are part of Honda’s move towards carbon neutrality by 2050. Honda is targeting the launch of a total of 10 electric vehicle models in China, starting with the e: NS1 and E: NP1 in 2022, as well as the Yè P7 and Yè S7 in 2024. Honda is also committed to making electric vehicles cover 100% of its sales in China by 2035.
