VinFast officially opened sales of their latest mini-SUV, VF 3, at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025. In this event, the company also announced a new policy that allows VinFast electric vehicle users to charge for free at charging stations managed by V-GREEN throughout Indonesia. This policy reflects VinFast’s commitment to providing smarter, more accessible and sustainable mobility solutions for Indonesians.
The official price of VF 3 is set at IDR 227,650,000 for purchases with battery ownership. VinFast also offers attractive incentives in the form of a cash discount of IDR 7,850,000 for the first 1,000 buyers. Deliveries of the vehicles are expected to begin in April 2025. In addition, customers who purchase VF 3 can also enjoy free charging until March 1, 2028 at all VinFast charging stations managed by V-GREEN.
The initiative aims to lower the total cost of ownership by removing charging fees, as well as making it easier to access electric vehicles. V-GREEN also plans to develop 30,000 VinFast charging stations in Indonesia by the end of 2025, which will support the transition to sustainable transportation. This shows VinFast’s commitment to accelerate the use of electric vehicles in Indonesia.
VinFast Asia CEO, Pham Sanh Chau, stated that the launch of the right-hand drive VF 3 marks a major step in bringing practical and attractive green mobility options to Indonesian consumers. The VF 3 is designed to be the ideal urban driving solution, especially for the younger generation who want a practical and personable vehicle.
Sebagai mini-SUV, VinFast VF 3 dirancang dengan dimensi kompak 3.190 x 1.679 x 1.652 mm, dilengkapi dengan pelek alloy 16 inci dan ground clearance 175 mm. The vehicle offers exceptional agility in a variety of terrains, perfect for urban mobility. The VF 3 is also available in four standard exterior colors and four premium two-tone color options, giving consumers more personalization options.
With a range of up to 215 km per full charge, the VF 3 offers impressive performance. The vehicle can charge from 10% to 70% in just 36 minutes and can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in 5.3 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of 100 km/h. That performance makes it a practical but still efficient choice for urban users.
The VF 3 is also equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system and paddle shifters, features typically found on luxury cars. With these features, the driving experience becomes more comfortable and enjoyable. Like other electric vehicle models, the VF 3 comes with a vehicle warranty of up to 7 years or 160,000 km, as well as a battery warranty for 8 years without mileage restrictions.
On February 15, 2025, visitors to IIMS 2025 will be able to try VF 3 live through a test drive session and experience an affordable model from the smart and modern VinFast product line. In a short period of time, VinFast has successfully built an electric vehicle assembly plant and expanded its sales and service network in Indonesia, contributing to the green transition and building a sustainable ecosystem with local partners such as Xanh SM and V-GREEN.
