Sub-brand premium Build Your Dream (BYD), DENZA, officially launched its first model, DENZA D9, in Indonesia by carrying out the concept “Elegance Reimagined.” By combining elegant design, innovative technology, and sustainable performance, DENZA aims to provide an extraordinary driving experience, while also committing to greener and more sustainable mobility in the Indonesian market.
Liu Xueliang, General Manager BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales Division, expressed his enthusiasm for DENZA's presence in Indonesia. According to him, DENZA's advanced technology has received a positive response globally, and they hope to receive a similar response in the growing Indonesian market.
Flashback to the year 2010, BYD and Mercedes-Benz established a joint venture with share ownership 50-50, which gave birth to DENZA. This brand combines BYD technology and Mercedes-Benz luxury. After restructuring on 2021 And 2024, DENZA is now fully owned by BYD and launched their first model, D9, which received a positive response in the global market.
Since the launch of the first model in 2014, DENZA has built a reputation as a premium brand with exclusive models in the SUV segment, MPV, and sedans. it, DENZA is present in several countries such as Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong, with more than 300.000 global orders.

DENZA D9, which was first launched in 2022, successfully balances business and personal needs as a luxury MPV that is also China's first electric vehicle. The D9 was a huge success in the Chinese market, became the best-selling electric MPV in 2023 and lead sales on 2024.
Denza D9 presents advanced technology, including the e3 system which includes three electric motors, rear-wheel steering, CTB (Cell to Body), from VMC (Vehicle Motion Control), to provide superior performance in a variety of conditions.
