Hyundai Motor Company launched the Hyundai Global Internship Program again this year, opens up opportunities for final year students from various ASEAN countries, including Indonesia. In Indonesia, PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) also supported this program through the Hyundai Goes to Campus activity which was held at various well-known universities throughout April 2025.

President Director of HMID, Ju Hun Lee, said that this program is a manifestation of Hyundai's "Progress for Humanity" spirit. Through this initiative, Hyundai wants to empower young Indonesian talents so they can develop in the global automotive industry, by being directly involved in various real projects with Hyundai Motor Company.

This year's Hyundai Goes to Campus activity has visited five major campuses in Indonesia, namely Prasetiya Mulya University, ITS, University of Indonesia, Gadjah Mada University, and the University of North Sumatra. This program is designed to provide a closer introduction to the world of work at Hyundai while expanding the reach of information about the global internship program.

During the campus visit, HMID does not only introduce an internship program, but also presents insight sharing sessions from HR division leaders. This session includes tips for success in facing job selection, recruitment simulation, to test drives of Hyundai products and special offers for the academic community.

This activity received an extraordinary response, visible from more than 650 students who attended, 200 more direct interview sessions were conducted, as well as more than 2.000 CVs collected through various channels. This enthusiasm shows the high interest of the younger generation in international internship opportunities in the automotive sector.

After going through a strict selection process, Hyundai finally selected the five best participants to take part in the Hyundai Global Internship Program 2025. The program consisted of four weeks of intensive training at Hyundai's headquarters in South Korea in July, followed by a four-week internship at HMID in September.

While following the program, Participants will gain broad insight into technology, history, and Hyundai's future direction. They will also be directly involved in real company projects, which also opens up opportunities to be recruited full time after the program ends.

As part of developing young talent, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (HMM) also launched the HMMI Internship Program for students from superior universities such as UI, UGM, ITS, Prasetiya Value, and IT Del. This year, this program targets 30 participants to take part in direct work experience in a Hyundai manufacturing environment integrated with a global internship program.
