SAIC Motor officially introduced the latest variant of the MG4 electric hatchback for the Chinese market, With the main update in the form of a new exterior color choice called "Donglai Purple", atau ungu Donglai.
This new color is specifically designed to provide an attractive visual effect, with metallic luster when exposed to sunlight and the effect of fine fog when viewed from a different angle, gives an elegant and futuristic appearance.
The name "Donglai" itself means "coming from the east", which gives the impression of local cultural identity while highlighting the Asian character from the design of this car.
SAIC announced that this purple edition of MG4 began to be ordered on 5 August, While the delivery of the unit will be carried out starting 5 Next September.
The dimensions of this vehicle remain the same as before, with the length 4.395 mm, wide 1.842 mm, and high 1.551 mm, and wheel axis 2.750 mm, which makes it proportional to the needs of urban mobility.
MG4 is still built on SAIC's Nebula EV platform and uses a permanent magnetic synchronous motor 120 KW which is positioned in the back of the vehicle, Supported by LFP batteries from Rept Battery Energy.
This car is able to go to the maximum speed 160 km/hour. Nevertheless, information about battery capacity and its mileage has not been officially disclosed.
