In order to celebrate 55 year of existence in Indonesia, PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), distributor resmi Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), held a Karoseri Award event 2025 at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) on Wednesday, 30 July 2025.

This event is a form of appreciation as well as a means of education for players in the national car body industry. Fuso took a hand 23 the best bodywork from 30 candidates who were previously selected strictly through production observations and checking technical documents since April 2025.

Paradiva, through this event, KTB doesn't just give awards, but also strengthen long-term partnerships. According to Aji Jaya, Sales Director & KTB Marketing, Collaboration with bodywork companies is the key to Fuso's success in the Indonesian market. “The quality of the Fuso chassis will not be perfect without solid body quality. Our products are superior in the eyes of consumers because of the synergy with our bodywork partners," he said in response.

The selected bodywork not only receives a trophy, but also get official certification which is valid for two years. This certification is proof of Mitsubishi Fuso's commitment to quality and reliable bodywork production standards.

This certification is also a strong signal that the products produced meet consumer expectations in terms of safety, durability, and reliability.

Before the awards night, Participants were invited to take part in various educational activities. One of them was a visit to the Mitsubishi Fuso assembly facility at PT Krama Yudha Ratu Motor, Pulogadung, East Jakarta.

This visit allowed participants to see firsthand the production process and understand more deeply Fuso's commitment to the quality of commercial vehicle products.

Besides that, Participants also received technical material from the Ministry of Transportation regarding vehicle design policies and regulations, as well as a presentation of the future bodywork development program with KTB.

This event was welcomed positively by industry players. One of them, Silvy Sabur from Karoseri Indo Saluyu who has been involved 45 years in the auto body field. He called Mitsubishi Canter the backbone of his business because of high market demand.

“Canter is like family to us. Almost 60% our consumers choose it. We know every detail,Silvy said.

Meanwhile, Syaifuddin Tangka, Director of PT Metalindo Teknik Utama from Karawang, highlighting the importance of coordination between ATPM and car body shop to maintain the quality of service to consumers. "If coordination goes well, guarantee remains safe, and in the end consumers are satisfied. And that's what makes our business sustainable,he stressed.

Award 2025 not just appreciation, but building a national auto body industry ecosystem that is more professional and has high standards.

KTB emphasized that in the future, This collaboration will continue to be improved to encourage innovation and ensure that all Fuso commercial vehicles are built to the highest quality.

Bodywork plays an important role in the commercial vehicle supply chain. They are the ones who transform an empty chassis into a ready-to-use vehicle—a box truck, tank, to other goods transporting vehicles. Without consistent standards and body quality, vehicle safety and efficiency could be compromised.
