Astra Financial recorded a significant spike in financing for electrified vehicles (xEV) during the first eight days of the GIIAS exhibition 2025. The xEV unit is financed up 32%, while the value of financing grows 19% compared to last year.
In Astra Financial Talk with Auto2000, Chief Marketing Auto2000, Yagiminconfirms the efficiency of the hybrid, fuel filling facility, as well as the potential for strong resale prices as the main advantage.
For example, The Toyota Innova Zenix Hybrid can travel up to 1,200km on one tank of fuel. Meanwhile, the Yaris Cross Hybrid covers a distance of around 800km—more practical than having to look for an electric refill station.

Financing programs via ACC and TAF at GIIAS offer special interest rates 2,3% for a tenor of 1–3 years. This allows consumers to save up to IDR 31.5 million from normal purchases. Plus various cashbacks and other promos, total profits can reach IDR 57.1 million during the exhibition.
From the period January to June 2025, Astra Financial has distributed hybrid car financing worth IDR 2.5 trillion.

Some of the superior hybrid models at GIIAS include: Toyota Innova Zenix Hybrid, Yaris Cross Hybrid, Corolla Cross Hybrid, Corolla Altis HEV and Alphard HEV and Vellfire HEV for the premium segment.
Meanwhile, Lexus is expanding its HEV lineup with the UX300h, NX 350h, RX 350h, LBX, to the LM luxury MPV. Daihatsu also took part by launching the Rocky Hybrid. BMW introduced a plug-in hybrid approach with the XM model, as a high performance yet energy efficient option.
The dominance of hybrids in xEV financing reflects consumer confidence in cars with fuel efficiency and charging flexibility. Astra Financial plays a strategic role through the One Stop Financial Solution service which combines financing, insurance, digital services, as well as promotional discounts from their nine business units, including ACC, TAF and Astra Insurance.
Total financing amounted to IDR 575 billion for 1.181 xEV units until day 8 of GIIAS 2025 indicating a maturing market.⁴ This marks a strong trend that hybrid cars – more than just a temporary option – are now the bridge to fully electric vehicles.
