Generally, Normal car engines have two types of radiator hoses, namely upper hose and lower hose. Even though they are made from the same material, each type has a difference in the indentation model. This depends on the design and model of the engine used in your car.
The radiator hose component uses rubber as the main material with a certain thickness. This rubber is quite flexible, but inside there are some threads that increase the strength of the radiator hose.

Water coolant This machine will flow to the radiator through the upper radiator hose and then stop at the radiator due to the closing of the thermostat. The engine coolant temperature will cool in the radiator and remain in the lower tank radiator
When the thermostat is open, mixture water coolant will flow from the lower radiator hose or lower hose into the engine and function to cool the hot temperature.
The second function of the radiator hose is to connect the cooling water channel between the radiator and the engine. In car engines, the radiator is generally located in the front grille and attached directly to the vehicle frame.
The radiator hose basically functions like a hose/connector. However, what is flowing is not ordinary waterwater coolant to connect the water channel on the engine with the water channel on the radiator.
