Valentino Rossi, is a legendary figure from Moto GP who recently retired on this date 14 November 2021. During 26 years of career in the world of motor racing, The Doctor, Valentino Rossi's nickname, has achieved 9 world champion title consisting of 7 title in the Moto GP class, one title in the 250cc class and the other in the 125cc class during his career. Valentino Rossi has also defended several big name motorbike manufacturers such as Honda, Yamaha and Ducati.

The legend himself has several motorbike collections that have helped him pursue a career in the world of motorbike racing. From several motorbikes that he currently collects, only the Honda NSR500 is not in the ranks of several of his motorbikes. The Honda NSR500 is a very valuable motorbike for Rossi because it was the motorbike that first fought with him to win the world title in the main Moto GP class..

“Saya berharap Alberto Puig mau mempertimbangkan kembali motor Honda NSR500 yang saya pakai di musim 2001. Because, itu sejatinya adalah motor yang special dan saya akan segera kembali bicara dengannya.” tutur Rossi, reported by Autosport.

Rossi admitted that he would immediately contact Boss Honda, Alberto Puig, in order to get the NSR500 motorbike back to him. Honda had promised to give him the NSR500 for collection. Rossi has also prepared a special place for this motorbike in his house.

When Alberto Puig was asked by Rossi that Honda could reconsider his request that the NSR500 motorbike be given to him, Puig did not provide a clear answer.

“I can't answer, This motorbike is a very important part for us. We put this motorbike in a museum and Honda is very proud of what we achieved, and also the titles that Valentino got with us. So, we want to have it as a trophy to be proud of and also to prove to the fans that we can win the title with that bike,” Said Alberto Puig.

It is known that the cooperative relationship between Honda and Rossi himself was in a bad condition last year 2003. Rossi felt that his contribution to HRC's success did not get the appreciation he deserved and in the end Rossi moved to Yamaha in 2004.

Wah, Looks like it's going to be a complicated problem, Paradiva! Rossi wants the motorbike but Honda doesn't seem to want to let it go.
