Carsome will open several branches in big cities in Indonesia such as Semarang, Yogyakarta and Malang. The presence of these newest branches is Carsome's effort to expand its service reach to be closer to consumers, where this is in line with Carsome's mission to continually build and elevate the consumer experience in selling and buying cars.
On 27 Mei 2021, Carsome will greet Semarang residents first by opening and inaugurating its newest branch on Jl. Brigadier General Sudiarto No.127, Gayamsari, Semarang. This Carsome branch will be a location for the people of Semarang and surrounding areas who want to sell their used cars at Carsome. Soon, Carsome will also open branches in Malang and Yogyakarta.
“Through the presence of the Carsome Inspection Center, we want to help people move forward by introducing and providing a transparent used car selling experience, fast, and easy. Apart from providing a new experience in selling cars, We also offer fair prices,” said Delly Nugraha as Country Head of Carsome Indonesia.
Based on the Carsome Consumer Survey, there will be an increase in respondents who want to sell their cars by 29% in the 2nd quarter in 2021 and there was an increase of 34% to the trending popularity of online used car selling platforms.
Delly Nugraha added, “With this expansion, We hope that the Carsome service can be enjoyed by more consumers so that it can support the car buying and selling needs of people in all regions in Indonesia".
To sell cars through Carsome, Customers can register their used cars via the carsome.id website. After entering the car completeness data and personal data, The Carsome team will verify the data and schedule a car condition survey which can be carried out at the Carsome Inspection Center, customer's home, or other mutually agreed location.
During the survey, Carsome's inspection team will carry out a thorough inspection of the car's condition 175 inspection point. All inspection and damage results will be informed by the Carsome team to customers.
Once the overall condition of the used car is known, Carsome akan kembali memberikan harga jual yang adil dan transparan yang memungkinkan mobil terjual dalam waktu 1×24 jam. The Carsome team can also help consumers in processing documents for vehicles they want to sell.
