Otodiva – In a major effort towards a sustainable vehicle revolution, MG Motor Indonesia and PLN through their business units, PLN Icon Plus, has embarked on an epic electric vehicle journey from Jakarta to Mandalika. This trip is not only a test of the toughness of electric vehicles in various geographical conditions in Indonesia, but also as a demonstration of progress on the supporting infrastructure necessary for the transition to clean energy. ‘EV Journey’, with total trip 1.333 km, involves a series of activities aimed at evaluating and showcasing the reliability of MG electric vehicles as well as the efficiency of the PLN Icon Plus charging infrastructure. This trip crosses several big cities such as Cirebon, Semarang, Surabaya, Banyuwangi, and Denpasar, engaging public participation and raising awareness about the growing electric vehicle infrastructure.

Vehicle used, MG 4 New MG ZS EV from EV, equipped with advanced technology such as a fast charging system that allows charging from 10% the 80% only in 35 minutes and high-level safety features that support safe long-distance travel.
