Otodiva – Continuing its commitment to supporting the world of education, Wuling Motors (Wuling) again strengthening the Wuling Bakti Pendidikan program by donating 365 machine unit. This donation was given to Vocational High Schools (SMK) and universities in the Cikarang area and East Java Province as part of Wuling's 7th anniversary celebration.
This program is a concrete form of Wuling's contribution in supporting vocational education in Indonesia, especially for students studying the automotive field. It is hoped that the donated machines can be a means of practical learning and support current industrial needs.
Arif Pramadana, Vice President Wuling Motors, disclose, “Melalui inisiatif CSR yang dikenal sebagai Wuling Bakti Pendidikan, Wuling continues to be committed to improving the quality of vocational education in Indonesia. In commemoration 7 Wuling year, we donated machines to strengthen vocational education capabilities on the island of Java. We aim to enhance students' practical learning experience, facilitating the transfer of knowledge from industry, supporting the development of a skilled workforce, dan memperkuat kapasitas institusi pendidikan dalam menyediakan pelatihan teknis berkualitas.”
The second ceremony took place at the Bromo Park Hotel, Probolinggo, on Friday (5/7), with 168 machine unit donated to 117 SMK and 1 Universities in East Java. Director of Vocational Schools, Ministry of Education and Culture, Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Drs. Wardani Sugiyanto, M.Pd., also appreciated Wuling's initiative, “Mari kita sambut dengan penuh semangat bantuan ini dan mengoptimalkan penyelenggaraan praktik di satuan kita. Ini adalah momentum luar biasa di mana industri semakin mencintai dan bermitra dengan SMK.”
Each machine unit donated by Wuling will be used as a practical tool for students, improve their skills in disassembling and reassembling machine components. The previous Wuling Bakti Education program was also implemented in Central Java and DIY at the end of June 2024, with donations 120 machine unit to 98 SMK and 2 Universities in Central Java, as well as 120 machine unit to 69 SMK and 4 Universities in DIY.
With the implementation of this program in Central Java, DIY, East Java, and Cikarang in June and July 2024, the total number of machines donated by Wuling reached 605 unit. It is hoped that this program can continue to run and provide significant benefits to the world of vocational education in Indonesia.
