Otodiva.id — This year, Astra via Dharma Bhakti Astra Foundation (Ydba) is back at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) which is the largest automotive exhibition in Indonesia.
In the exhibition that took place on 18 – 28 July 2024 This, Astra shows its contribution to Indonesian MSMEs by displaying various MSME products starting from the manufacturing industry, craft & culinary, agriculture to construction programs for UMKM workshops 4.
YDBA Chairperson, Rahmat Samuelo said, Astra's contribution through YDBA in the Manufacturing Industry supports government policy in increasing the level of domestic components (TKDN) large industry involving MSMEs.
“YDBA is part of Astra's CSR, encouraging MSMEs to enter the automotive industry supply chain, plantation, electronic, medical devices, hotel, restaurants and cafes (Hospitality) as well as construction materials through various training and development steps,explained the man who 33 Years of his career at Astra were spent in automotive.
Astra via YDBA provide ongoing development programs through training, assistance, marketing facilitation and financing facilitation. The coaching program is carried out to support the independence of MSMEs.
“At GIIAS this time, Astra through YDBA displays its contribution to the national automotive industry, featuring replicas of wheeled vehicles 4 which is supported by 67 components manufactured by 27 MSMEs assisted by YDBA. From 67 these components, there is 6 components that support electric vehicles,” he said.
In the 2-wheeled vehicle industry, Astra via YDBA displays 30 components manufactured by 20 MSMEs assisted by YDBA. The components that have successfully entered the 2-wheeled vehicle supply chain are the result of YDBA's collaboration with PT Astra Honda Motor (PT AHM), Indonesian Ministry of Industry and Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
According to the YDBA Management Secretary, Ema Poedjiwati Prasetio in providing coaching, they do not provide any form of assistance Money, but by increasing capabilities, capacity and find ways for MSMEs and SMEs develop. “We provide basic mentality training, link and match large industries with SMEs (small and medium industry), so that SMEs become the supply chain for the large automotive industry,"He explained.
In this GIIAS, Astra through YDBA also displays several products produced by manufacturing MSMEs, including medical device products, such as the USG trolley produced by MSMEs in Tarikolot Bogor and supplied to PT AstraComponent Indonesia, mobile suction pump products supplied to industry medical devices in Indonesia, axes produced by Klaten MSMEs and supplied to PT Astra Agro Lestari, wire condenser developed by MSMEs in Solo and supplied to the electronics industry in Indonesia, machine roasting coffee produced by MSMEs in Solo and supplied to the Horeka industry,
Astra's contribution through YDBA in the Wheel Repair Industry 4 In this GIIAS, Astra, through YDBA, also demonstrated the guidance it provides to wheel repair MSMEs 4. The aim of this training is to create a professional and standard public workshop.
Astra through YDBA encourages MSME workshops to implement workshop service standards, starting from maintenances reminder & appointment activities, receipt of the unit to be serviced, repair, delivery and post service & follow up.
In developing wheel repair MSMEs 4 Astra, through YDBA, is also collaborating with various partners to work together to make MSMEs upgrade and become independent. Some of them, such as PT Astra Otoparts Tbk which supports the provision of original spare parts, PT Astra Daihatsu Motor as an expert and PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia and PT Denso Indonesia as experts to support increasing the competency of MSMEs and partners in market expansion through the Isuzu Partner Workshop and Denso Partner Shop.
At the moment, The MSME workshops that Astra fosters through YDBA are spread across several areas and join the community, namely the YDBA Assisted Workshop Association (HBBA). HBBA itself is spread across several regions, including HBBA Jabodetabek, HBBA East Java & Bali, HBBA Yogyakarta and HBBA Banyumas Raya.
Apart from fostering SMEs that are included in the automotive industry supply chain, YDBA also fosters Culinary MSMEs & Crafts and Agriculture. In this GIIAS exhibition, Astra through YDBA presents products from the Culinary MSME community, namely Mamere Cooperative, Poklahsar (Processing and Marketing Group) Jaya Bersama and OKUSA Cooperative (Culinary Processing Sangatta).
In the craft industry, Astra through YDBA also presents various MSME products, start from accessories to fashion. In agriculture, Astra through YDBA displays derivative products cultivated by farmers, including red ginger powder from Lebak Banten, roll on and aromatherapy products from citronella farmers in Bantul and Lebak, as well as cashew and vanilla products produced by farmers in Manggarai West, NTT.
In this GIIAS exhibition, Rahmat emphasized Astra's commitment through YDBA in developing MSMEs in Indonesia, carried out with intense assistance, so as to encourage MSMEs to move up a class and become independent. This year, Astra, through YDBA, is providing guidance to 1.328 Active MSMEs.
In the process of construction, Ydba emphasizes and encourages MSMEs to have a good mentality and be able to create added value in their business.
